Is Cochlear Implant Likened to the $100,000 Car?

Response #1

  • Cochlear Implant, I have always mentioned it is a "Black and Decker" job. Why if anyone else who doesn't understand, it drills thru the skin and skull till it is close to the cochlear "the shell" of your ears, poke an "ice-pick" so thin into the "shell of cochlear, and implant a thin tube that will act to make your ears to hear.

The first sounds after the operation would be a doctor's fart and you "implantee" cannot tell what the sounds is until someone close the nose from that putrid egg salad sandwich smell.

What I am saying is "in your face reality" there has not been a "reality show" that ever mentioned or show about cochlear implant or a film that shows pre and post operation and thereafter of the implanted person. There has not been a film that shows how ignorance the docs are that doesn't know the other side of the "ocean" the hearing aids, deaf cultures and "the look down" of the thereafter of the operation. All docs are is keeping their membership up to standing at the most expensive golf club the doc can afford.

Are the Pro-Hear (pro-choice/pro-life) so ignorance toward the Pro-Deaf? Per permission, Rodney King, the famed beating from the L.A. police and the thereafter of the riots after announcing, Rodney King says, "Can we all get along?" So Can Pro-Hear and Pro-Deaf get along, "Black and Decker" docs be more culturized-sensitive to the culture of both side, disavow the money that docs are so greedy after then we all can live in Zen - harmony? Ha, like that I would see?

Let me put into words! Putting cochlear implant into a deaf child is like forcing them to hear what Pro-Hear-ing wants them to hear!

Children who are deaf can hear with their minds such as visual impaired can see what is like to see in their minds when anyone who is patient enough to explain the wonders of life. Everyone is a teacher that can seek and search both side of the ocean, but the Pro-Hear aren't. They are putting cochlear implants into ears on what they want (force) you (implantee) to hear!

Being a devil's advocate - where is the sight implant? Nasal implant, walking implant, griping implant, feet implant and common sense implant for Pro Hear to realize what the world is coming to.

    Steve
