ASL Rose Anthem
O' sign! Can you see by the rose's early blooming,
What so proudly we planted in the rich, fertile soil,
Whose broad leaves and bright stems through the shining skies,
O'er the thorns we sniffed, were so sweetly fragrant!
And the Roses' red glare, the pollen bursting through the air,
Gave proof through the blossoming that the ASL Rose was still there;
O' sign! does that shimmering scarlet rose yet flourish,
Over the land of the creative, and the home of daring?
We are inspired by the famous deaf people in Chicago that were featured in Bob Paul’s two-piece DVD production. Brilliant fireworks surrounding the famous Chicago Deaf stories show the importance of their active, creative and innovative achievements. ASL Rose is proud to display Bob Paul’s two-DVD set! You may order this two-piece set for only $60 on www.chicagodeafstories.com! Bob, thanks for your fantastic artwork! Clever!
July 4th is just around the corner and it is one of the most exciting celebrations in America. Another exhilarating piece of news: it was recently published that the American Bald Eagle is no longer on the endangered species list!! Check out this website, US Fish and Wildlife Service.
We are deeply grateful to all of the people who took the time to protect this precious American mascot.
Be sure to enjoy the colorful flashes in the sky! Perhaps you’ll also see one of the mighty American Bald Eagles. We wish you a fun, safe summer!
